My name is Jay Wertzberger and I am an independent Legal Videographer. I live in the San Fernando Valley and I travel to LAX, downtown Los Angeles, Century City, Santa Monica, Glendale, Hollywood, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills and surrounding areas. |
My standard rate is $55.00 per hour based on a 3 hour minimum, including a start time beginning 1 hour prior to the deposition; time and a half after 8 hours and on weekends and holidays. Non-appearances and cancellations under 18 hours before job start time are subject to minimum charge. |

I use my own equipment, consisting of 3-chip miniDV camera, Bogen tripod, DVD recorder, S-VHS deck, 4-channel audio mixer, video monitor, Photek professional medium grey backdrop and I transport using a compact rolling cart. I record an SVHS master and a DVD backup, or VHS backup if needed. |

During a deposition, I provide the court reporter with headphones and cable extensions. Afterwards, I provide an audio cassette copy of the deposition. Attorneys and deponents are recorded with Sony lavaliere microphones and boundary mics for high quality sound. |
